I have been fortunate most of my life to enjoy good health. I had the chicken pox when I was little, the flu a few times and that's about it, no surgeries or hospital stays. In 2006, just about one month before I was to go to Europe for my 10 year wedding anniversary, I began feeling very very bad. My vision was blurry, I felt like I was going to faint at any time, I felt off balance, and it felt like when I walked I was wading through quick sand and it took every bit of effort to get up and walk. I went to doctor after doctor and had at least 10 blood tests done in the span of two months, had an MRI, CAT scan and all tests kept coming back negative. Doctors would look at me like I was crazy and say it was "stress". I am an anxious person by nature and know what stress is, this wasn't stress. I finally realized, on my own what the problem was, the flavored, bottled water I had been drinking for years (that contained Aspartame) was poisoning me. Unfortunately I found out about this too late to save the 10 year wedding anniversary to Europe, the trip had to be cancelled. But by then my whole life had been cancelled, I wasn't able to do anything except lie on the couch and watch TV. And it got to the point that I wasn't able to eat anything either.
Thank goodness I found your clinic in Texas! Being from Maryland I was hesitant at first to take such a big step and come to Texas for treatment but I'm glad I did. You helped get me on the detox program and into therapies right away. I instantly felt better during my four days in Texas at your clinic and continued to feel better once at home and on the detox program. I am doing much better now, I can eat, though I am careful what I eat and I can go out and do things again. My husband and I are back into biking trails during the weekend, in fact last weekend we did 26 miles one Sat just like old times! I finally have my life back and maybe next year we can go to Europe for our 11th wedding anniversary.
I now tell everyone about the dangerous affects of Aspartame and to stay away from it! I also tell everyone about your clinic and how much help you were to me in getting my life back.
