"Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying" |
Testimony of Anita

Ode to Doctor Shawn
I was diagnosed with "Coronary Artery Disease"
They said it could kill-----
So I found a Wellness Center
Way out in Lewisville!
I surfed the internet
It had to pass my private test.
Who would have thought with a name like Sieracki
Would be the very best.
So, I made the appointment
With a little apprehension and fear
Never dreaming this guy Sieracki
Would become so very dear.
He got out his weird machine
Went up and down my fingers and every toe
He talked cells, rejuvenation
He seemed to be in the "know"
He finished up by finding
My every flaw and failing
Then he assured me I'd be well
It would be clear sailing.
That Dr. Shawn
He's sly as a fox
He said it's easy
Just a simple "detox"!
He said, "It's for your health
Only 21 days,
You'll have to change your diet
In some drastic ways."
It sounded so easy
Just juicing with cucumbers, carrots, and something called ginger
root?
Then later a salad and a bean soup
And a glorious nectarine to boot.
The juice, Daneen, promised was oh so very good
And yummy!
I hated that healthy green stuff
It just disrupted my tummy!
And then there was this "Temple Cleanse" - BEWARE
It was lethal
And didn't seem quite fair.
The toilet paper roll was empty
And also the Kleenex box--
As I became acquainted
With what they called "detox".
I began my 21 days
Suspecting it was a trap
Getting no beef or sweets
Nothing from a box or with a cellophane wrap.
Poor, Dr. Shawn
I griped and moaned with every bite.
I emailed him constantly
Both day and night.
But he was sweet
And answered every line.
And I discovered
This young man was Oh, so fine.
We got through that detox
Me and Dr. Shaw, bless his soul!
And that marvelous young man
Made me well and whole.
So, I thank you, Dr. Shawn
I now know
My cells need vegetables
I'll let you run the 'show'.
I've found me a brand new hero
And a brand new friend.
So now, it's up to you, Dr. Shawn
To keep me healthy till
THE END
Love, Anita
